Yet another contradiction from yours truly, yes I have already posted about dreaming big! bigger than is even possible. And this is still very relevant, in fact an idea so important I don't mind highlighting again in a new way. A dream in this case is defined as a cherished aspiration. The positivity and motivation we feel by achieving such an aspiration can be very rewarding, however A dream doesn't have to be defined by scale. You can cherish an aspiration no matter how big or small, but if you dream bigger than is even possible, you will only have this one possible achievement in which to celebrate success. If you divide this big dream into a series of smaller dreams, you can celebrate more success, while still striving for the same ideal in the end. In the long run this means a more positive and determined life, you may even reach your final goal sooner by allowing yourself to celebrate success more often. In my previous post on changing the world, I outline the importance of forgetting this big dream. In a sense this could simply mean to dream a little bit smaller. It doesn't mean you won't succeed in a big way, it means you will succeed many times. |
