You want to be in an environment that motivates you and drives you achieve your goals, right? So why would you want to be in a place where you're already the best? Being surrounded by other's who have talents you could learn from, or advice you could ask for is exactly where you want to be as a creative. It's also great to accept you think other's are 'better' than you because deep down what really is 'better'? How can that possibly be a fact in a realm where individual expression and uniqueness is valued? You're allowed to think other people are better than you because if you approach it the right way, you can utilise that as a drive to keep moving onwards and upwards, to keep learning new skills and gain outside opinions that you value. If everyone in the room believes other people are better than them, then that sounds like a pretty ideal environment to me. |
