When I'm thinking about what advice to post about everyday I try to think of something I need advice on, on that particular day. Something important I've come to realise is that it is a lot easier to give advice to others than to know how to handle your own problems. But I've also learnt a great way to work around this...ask yourself what you would do. Imagine you are in someone else's shoes giving the advice to yourself. Despite having something new to post everyday I actually find it very hard to keep up with my own advice. But the fact that I have it all down here means I can come back when I'm struggling, and find some inspiration from myself! It's really quite genius I thought. And really when it comes down to it you know yourself better than anyone, while pretending to be in another's shoes you are really just being yourself from an outside perspective. When you do ask for advice don't you normally run it over with yourself before implementing what they have to say? You've secretly always had a part in giving advice to yourself, this is just a way of cutting out the middle man and realising your own potential. p.s I'm not saying don't seek advice from others, you should always do this to gather a variety of opinions. But in the end you will always make the final decision, just remember that. |
