This is an expression I've come to taken quite literally. In moments of stress, rejection, negativity, or anything that's bringing you down, it's good to remember that at the end of the day... I'm still able to be as creative as I want. At the end of the day... I've still got my friend's and family and a roof over my head. At the end of the day... I gave it my all. At the end of the day... it's time for a new tomorrow. At the end of today, and tomorrow, and as many days as you like after that, try reflecting on what happened and where you are headed from that. The positives and the negatives come to light, with recognition for what you were happy with as well as a chance to remember that maybe the negative things aren't so bad after all. It's by looking ahead from what's happened over the day that reminds you of this fact, there is always another day, there is more time. "But my deadline was an hour ago" you say? I'm not lying about having more time in that sense, I'm saying there really is more time in the future where you can go on to achieve the bigger and better things your heart desires. |
