I've written posts in the past about making milestones for projects, and celebrating success more often rather than solely aiming for the end goal. This still holds true and today I learnt that this is something you can also do even if you don't know what the end goal is. You might have a broad idea in mind, but sometimes it's not always clear. By leaving room for development it can be daunting to visualise the steps ahead to get amongst the fog that is the finish line. Start making milestones for what you can achieve now, by going through them the project will start developing. Just like going through fog the steps ahead start becoming clearer right? Eventually you'll emerge from the cloud and walaah! Achieve what you can, celebrate the milestones and see where they take you. It's much less daunting to look at the project in small increments. |
