Did you know that when you try to learn more, you actually know less stuff. Here's why, When you are a beginner at something you know you've got more to learn right? So you start learning. And what do you learn? you start learning that there is even more stuff out there that you didn't know. And the more you continue to learn the more you find out how much you don't know. It's a bit of a confusing world we live in I have to say. The key advice here, is to realise when embarking on an educational journey you are only going to find out truly how much stuff you don't know. But keep learning, because what you might miss out on is looking back on how far you've come. In the fog when we start seeing the road ahead a bit more clearly, we are too focussed to look back and see how far we've travelled. Remember when you were way back over there? Look at how far you've progressed since then! shouldn't that be something to celebrate? I love the idea of celebrating success more often. It's something we like to reward ourselves with but we should do it as often as we can, because the key to moving forward is to lead a positive and determined life. Remember when you are on a pathway to learning, stop every now and then and look back. You will achieve the exact same amount of learning but maybe even faster, because seeing your success allows you to see how easily there will be more success to come. Remember that time you handed in a massive project right on deadline? you did it! and you know you can do it again now, and one day be looking back on it in an everlasting cycle of achievements. |
