This is for the people out there who use the excuse "I don't have time!". Don't be silly of course you do. In earlier post's I've said you create your own 'real world', and you create your own definition of perfection. Well there is a similar theme running through my advice which I hope you've picked up on. You also create your own time! There are a lot of things in life you think you don't have control of when really all it takes is the motivation to take control of it. Time is merely formed to allow people to make sense and order of their life journey. You can't say you "don't" have time when in fact you have all the time that has been given to you for your life span. If you keep getting stuck in the stressful world of deadlines and meetings you aren't focussing on the time you have. Take a moment to slow down and look at the time you have been given, re-evaluate how much time you really have. Better yet, do this before you start a project. So many people don't have the willpower to do the things they want to do in the time they want to do them. Add up all the time in one day you are using to achieve nothing. Over a good period that probably adds up to more time than it would take to do the project. Learn to use your time wisely. There is always time, but whether that time is being used by you, for you, is another story. |
