In today's world, being knowledgable, having skills and being right isn't enough to make it. It is much more important to be a positive person than to know something. Why? because nobody want's to work with negativity. If you have the attitude to be positive, and want to learn, then you will be instantly more attractive to work with than someone who already knows the stuff but doesn't care about it. You can't manufacture passion, you can only manage your intake of caffeine in an attempt to efficiently fill a blank canvas. And despite your efforts, it is easy to tell the difference between passion & manufactured energy. No amount of coffee will compare to what you can achieve from having passion for what you do (although if you try combining coffee & passion, do let me know how that turn's out). If you find yourself in a situation you find boring or uninspiring, try to find some passion in it! Don't write an average CV that looks like everyone else's, make your mark! show your passion, if you stand out you will get noticed. You can find a way to write exactly what is required, but in a way that grabs attention, and shows a potential employer your ability to find passion in mundane situations. That's the kind of person that other's want to work with. Next time someone asks what you do, don't tell them your job. That is such a general question, you don't do your job. You do you. |
