Contradictory to my previous post on making sure you manage your time well, I'm here to say actually you can't manage time. Because time will never change, in fact there is always time. It's all around us constantly ticking by unmanageably. But what we can manage is the activities we do during the time given to us. It's important to consider what we are able to achieve in this time when trying to manage activities. When we die there will still be a to-do list, time doesn't end when you do. You will never fit in everything you want to get done because as humans we are always trying to find purpose and new things to do. That's why it is crucial to have a bit of management, manage what you can get done in the time you have. Is it absolutely essential you do some of these things? For example it takes me about 10 minutes to get my make up sorted in the morning. I started when I was about 15, and lets say I do it everyday until I'm 60. That's 16,425 minutes of my life used to put make up on. How much more could achieve in my life if I cancelled out make-up? I'm merely trying to show that we have access to a lot more time than we think, it pays to use that time wisely, achieve what you want to achieve! get out there with what you're given, it is a gift! Management of activities is a great tool to achieving your goals. Teach yourself about how you are really using your time, and where it might be better spent. |
